“We Will Wait”

(GOD) God should be the center of the entangled web of life.

(Family, friends, girlfriends, boyfriends, hobbies, our entertainment sources, school, money, sports, etc..) All of these things are spun out of the center of the web to make the web more beautiful and interesting are God’s blessings he gives each of us.

(Ourselves) We are the spider on the Web. We can go about the web freely, either choosing to chill with God, and make Him the center of our lives, or we can get ourselves wrapped up in the blessings that are only earthly or temporary. The web can break at anytime, but when it breaks, who will you lean on? God, to become the center again and respin your web? Or will you rely on yourself, and try to patch the web back together with the remains?

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain, a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, a time to be silent and a time to speak, a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.

Obviously, there is a time for everything as it says above. God knows when to give you blessings, and when to snatch them up. He doesn’t always just provide you with a web to relax on, with blessings and good things, he provided you with it because it’s what you need to survive. There is a time and season for everything, a reason for everything. Even a time for your web to break, and a time to mend your web. “Good things fall apart, so better things can happen” is what I’ve always heard. When the good things fall apart, God always has something better in the future for us. He promises us that all throughout the Bible. He knows your future, he will give us a rockin’ one if we seek him and follow him, let him be the center and have our whole heart. Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. -and- Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” He never leaves us during the tough times, when we are hanging from the edge to see what his plans are for us. Those are the times where we start losing faith, because we can’t necessarily see God doing a whole lot in our lives. Hebrews 13:5 Never will I leave you, never will I forsake you. But the truth is, he never goes away, never hides, never forsakes. He just isn’t showing up obviously. His love and character is all around us. In nature, and everything. You go outside, you see God. You go to church, during worship, you see God. He’s everywhere, maybe during those times you just give up and you stop noticing.

“While I’m Waiting” -John Waller I’m waiting on You, Lord. And I am hopeful. Though it is painful, patiently, I will wait. I will move ahead, bold and confident, takeing every step in obedience. While I’m waiting.. I will serve You. I will worship. I will not faint. I’ll be running the race, even while I wait. I’m waiting on You, Lord. And I am peaceful, though it’s not easy. But faithfully, I will wait.. Yes, I will wait.

That’s the song in a nutshell. It basically repeats itself over and over. But the lyrics are so powerful and true. While you’re waiting, you should do all those things. Serve, worship, and do not become weary and don’t faint. Be patient, have faith, and wait on God to show you where to go. Which is something I have the hardest time with. I’d rather get it done real easy, fast, and MY way. But it never, ever, works out to be good. I’ve learned that with God’s way, he rocks it everytime and gives me awesome opportunities. While you’re waiting, strive to live a more Godly life. DON’T mope, have pitty. Be happy with whatever happens, because you know it’s from God if you’ve asked him to do his will in your life. Be happy because you have a God who is the only thing that’s promised eternally and forever. He loves you more than anyone else ever will! Love him back by being happy about the blessings you DO have while you wait, and even after you wait. Have faith, and be patient. Not all bad, hurtful things are from the devil. God gives us the “bad” things to test our faith, so we can still show him love through the bad times. When we have negitive attitudes towards the bad things, that doesn’t honor God and show him our love for him. If you’re a Christian, then you should grasp this and understand these hardships aren’t from the devil, it’s God’s way of testing you. To show you that he’s there, during those times as well as the good times. He wants you to seek him and find him through the tough times. Not just when life is good for YOU.

So, while you wait:

-Worship God, give all the glory to God.

-Read his word.

-Ecclesiastes 9:10 Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all of your might.

-Live your life to the FULLEST.
